Flor de Caña 18-Year

Definiltly not a sweet rum.. even stornger taste of wood than 12yo. version.

Lovely colour in the glass , i can detect natural sweetness with vanilla , caramel and definite oak in the balance. Its a dry rum that needs to breath for a while to dissipate the alcohol vapours but then it reveals itself as a true 18 yr with (hopefully) no added extras. I enjoyed the 12 yr and am enjoying this with an ice cube. Will give the 25 yr a go next. Also good value down here at the bottom of the world !

I like having a glass of this on ice Friday after work with a nice cigar. This is my go to rum and it never disappoints.

A nice amber colour. Less sweet than its relatives the Flor de Cana 5 an 7. First and prominent flavour of Carmel, molasses and strong oak. I enjoyed sipping this with my sons at a recent special occasion and will have to get another for the cabinet.
Best enjoyed neat

4 once,One ice cube... Let it stand 5-10 minutes...the taste is very rich. no after bite.

Es un con gran sabor a maderas, medianamente dulce. Buen ron para tomarlo en ocasiones especiales.

all the things you can image of (dry molasses) rum is in here. fruity notes, caramel (hint of), vanilla (hint of), a light body for easy moments (thats great). smooth. mild. long aftertaste. wooden elements in the back. great stuff!

Very sweet at first..smooth at the end..but strong alcohol taste...the 12 is much better

Libila se mi lahev, barva, docela solidni recenze, proste velka ocekavani. Realita nic moc vune, nastesti se casem a teplem trochu lepsi, chut malinko stiplava, nevyvazena, neni to spatny rum ale uz se k nemu nevratim.
