A sugar-free 18-year old, ultra premium rum that is sustainably produced (Carbon Neutral & Fair Trade certified). From a 5th generation family estate, it is naturally aged without artificial ingredients, distilled 100% with renewable energy and KOSHER certified. A full-bodied rum with a long and smooth finish that lingers in the palate. Best enjoyed neat or on a rock, with a peel of orange.

Is good and cheap. But you can get Appleton 12 years for the same price and that one is the best of this range.
I found it an honest rum, sufficiently good but nothing special. It's quite smooth, but some extra air might help before drinking.
Sladká vůně - cítím intenzivně vanilku.
Chuť jemnější a příjemnější než 12ka.
It's exterior and convenience are the best. A little heavy from long aging in barrel. Over time, the taste of strong vanilla and oak is joined by orange. Obviously would buy it if the cost like AE12.
Lesson learned. Flor de Caña 7... solid. Flor de Caña 12... great. Therefore 18 has to be exceptional, right? Not so much.
Nose - Leather, Tobacco, Nuts, Caramel
Palate - Bitter (!), Vanilla, Hazelnut
This rum keeps you honest. It stops one from waxing poetry while peeking at the price and the year designation. My bottle is almost empty because I make everyone taste it so they can realize they like less expensive, less esteemed rums better.
I finally got to try some. It’s got a lot going for it, it’s in the drier side for those that don’t like sweeter rums, has unique flavors. But it has to mellow and breathe in the glass more as others have mentioned. Sometimes I’m a little too impatient to wait for it. In my opinion, for the price; I shouldn’t have to do that.

Nicaragua. I just didn't like this rum. I get a really strong banana/ester flavor for it that I find off-putting.
Toffee, Caramel, Dark Chocolate, hazlenuts and a little touch of tobacco give a sweet but not overly cloying nose.
"It’s not overly sweet and retains a dryness which is particularly good on the finish."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

A deep amber rum with woody notes. There is no sweetness to it, but it is not as dry as a Jamaican rum. Decent sipper but not something to brag about. An excelent replacement for any whiskey.
