El Dorado 21 is produced near the equator in Guyana by Demerara distillery. The final product is a blend of rums, aged between 21 and 25 years and crafted using 100% locally sourced Demerara sugar. Traditional tools are used in the distilling processes including three unique wooden stills. The rums rest until maturity in 45 gallon oak casks.

This rum is a rum I can't keep in the house to long it goes down very nice smooth a little thick but goes down nicecand with the right cigar you can be in a different world
Rum El Dorado 21 I have an unbeatable smell and taste, the best I have ever drank. The scent is exclusive.
I recently bought myself the little sample pack with the 12, 15 and 21 yo el dorado.
I found this the best one.
But ! if i look at the prices of big bottles i see that this one is twice the price of the 15 yo.
So if (and this will happen) i buy a full bottle, it will be the 15.
they are all very good if you ask me.
Great sipping rum. It is soooooo good that I believe it is a crime to add ice or mix. Hope you all enjoy it as much as I do.
Forget the rest this is the best. Hard to believe I had this rum in Barbados where Mount Gay is King but El Dorado is served at the better bars as their #1. Again was at a resort in Barbados and the bartender gave me a rum tour, needless to say the tour ended with this 21 year old. Great for sipping and relaxing. A bit out of my price range......actually more than a bit.
En rigtig dejlig rom. Virkelig dejlig duft og meget kompleks smag. Slutter dejlig sødt.
A very fine choice.
It's comparable to Ron Centenario in its sweetness, but I think that el dorado is a little sweeter. However I think since it embraces the sweetness, it's a little better than Centenario.
Dark flavor but not syrupy, lots of molasses and brown sugar. A very pleasant rum to sip.
I tried this for the first time yesterday. I will add more comments after I have tried it a few more times.
This is actually very nice rum, but could be smoother for this price.
'spice nose with hints of honey and dark sugar'
"El Dorado 21-Year rum review by The Ultimate RumGuide"
There is an extra layer of oak in the profile.
"Notes of oak and a slight spiciness also comes through. The rum is very smooth and easy drinking but complex enough to ensure you savour each sip of the drink. The finish is long lasting."
