El Dorado 21 is produced near the equator in Guyana by Demerara distillery. The final product is a blend of rums, aged between 21 and 25 years and crafted using 100% locally sourced Demerara sugar. Traditional tools are used in the distilling processes including three unique wooden stills. The rums rest until maturity in 45 gallon oak casks.

I was lucky enough to go to a tasting in which we got to have this truly amazing rum . The youngest rum in this blend is 21 years so a really old rum . Smooth and easily drank very very good rum loved it !!
A little too sweet for me. I'd rather have the 15 yeah old from El Dorado.
Beautiful!
Sweet, caramel, tingles nicely on the tongue.
A lot smoother than expected. No burn. Marked down due to the price, although very nice I think there are other rums that done close to this.
Haven’t tried to 15yr yet.
Has a musky smell that tips off its age. More oak flavor and better balanced than the 12 and 15. Still on the sweet side. Its better than the 12 and 15 but not once the price difference is factored in.
This distillery cannot be matched due to the historic equipment they use to make thier Blends. I scored it a 9 note because it doesn't dederve thr 10, but because it is a bit to complex for my palate.
Fein und langanhaltend im Abgang.
Dunkel in der Farbe und süss auf der Zunge
As with the 15 year, the 21 year has a drier and less sweet taste than my personal favourite the 12 year. An excellent rum, but I still prefer the 12 year
12, 15, 21, 25 all have a different taste. I find the 21 to be the next step of the 12, and the 25 the next step of the 15. I always have a bottle of this on hand.
Amazing sipper but 15 is great, too. Good to try but it's not twice as good as 15, price unfortunately is. Still, highly recommended.
'spice nose with hints of honey and dark sugar'
"El Dorado 21-Year rum review by The Ultimate RumGuide"
There is an extra layer of oak in the profile.
"Notes of oak and a slight spiciness also comes through. The rum is very smooth and easy drinking but complex enough to ensure you savour each sip of the drink. The finish is long lasting."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
