Tried this little fella and was not disappointed. Huge orange oil on the palate, lots of lovely sweet and sour orange, some anise on the finish. Its quite viscous for a 40% ABV offering. At this price point this is a very nice sipping rum I would recommend.

I was staring at the rum wall at my loca Hub and pulled out this site for help. I’m a random look at this bottle on the shelf I checked out the ratings and pulled the trigger. Don’t regret it not one second. Do this justice and drink it neat.

The rum that started the ball rolling. Dark, sweet and tasty. Would recommend.

Full-bodied rum, very sweet (I think there is added sugar), but with interesting flavors. Easy rum for newcomers, definitely recommended, though, has become extremely popular and you might get it overpriced.

This is one of my favorite rums to sit and sip. It's definitely one of my go-tos. Very flavorful without being overly sweet.

At $39.99 USD, this rum is a great stand-in for enjoying a Dominican sipping rum with your friends and not having to worry about the next time you'll be in the Caribbean to replace it if you end up going through the whole bottle. It's great to have on the shelf.
