Nice to enjoy without ice. I drink it pure. Does not come in hard. Fine taste en aftertaste. Just perfect en very smooth.
Fantastic sipping rum. Don’t need more than a single ice cube (unless you’re smart and chill the bottle ahead of time). Don’t need mix. When going on a rum cruise this is a rum to start with.
Still my fav rum. I always have at least bottle in my collection.
Best rum i've ever tasted, taste like dessert in liquid form.
An absolutely phenomenal bottle of rum...
This is truly a wonderful sipping rum for those that like a sweeter rum...complex and well balanced...one of my favorites.
- najlepiej pije się go w kieliszku do likieru ;)
Very tasty rum to enjoy on a lazy evening. Don't dare to mix it!
"The palate evokes chocolate sauce and the sweet toffee, fudge and tropical fruit flavours from the nose"
"The nose is dominated by notes of caramel, toffee and crème. On the back end of the aromas, I can detect a hint of smoke and pineapple"

Smells sweet. It is fruity, oranges, grapes and raisins with scents of chocolate and a sweet almost syrupy.
"The tasting notes on the site are very accurate vanilla, fudge/toffee sauce are noticeable as are notes of vanilla and a finish which is slightly bitter like cocoa which leaves a hit of oakiness on the taste buds. The finish is pretty short. ."

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

When I had started my studies on rum I heard mention of rums "heavily adulterated with sauces". This is undoubtedly one of them and may in fact be the most infamous.
It is quite sweet and no doubt has added sugars and flavors. It melds sweetness, mild complexity, and smoothness, with an easy-going progression on the palate. It feels quite like a liqueur. It is extremely approachable for the beginner, and for those with a sweet tooth.
Such artificial rums don't catch my attention anymore, and I've also moved very rapidly towards a love of dry rums. I do appreciate rums with "a natural sweet effect" that go without the use of added sugar, such as Plantation Xaymaca.
