Venezuela | Aged | 40% ABV | Pot Still
Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva rum is distilled from molasses in copper pot stills and then aged in small oak casks for on average 12 years before being bottled.
Produced in Venezuela, which has a rich rum history dating to 1896, the Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva distillery is located on the northern slopes of the Andes mountains.

Great flavour and very smooth but not as complex as similar aged rums
Nice nice nice, but you need to like the sweet, very sweet taste it leaves in your mouth. Fine for after desert.

It was my first sipping rum, I didn't really like it at first, probably because I tried it with ice and it ruined the pureness of it. After 5 glasses or so I started to love it and now the bottle is almost empty. Really great rum.

This rum is a tad sweet for my preferences but pair it with a good cigar and it's excellent. Smooth with great flavor, if you like sweet rums this one I would think should be on the top of your list.
This rum is a top standard for every gustation I've ever made. My lovely sureness.
Super smooth and tasty. Very sweet. Perfect as an after dinner digestif
