Well, no need to present this wide know rum. Dark ember colour, intensive smell, very sweet, robust, fruity, almost like over-ripe plums. I just love to smell this. And the taste is as the same. Sweet, chocolate, fruit and super mellow. I'm not exactly a fan of the high sugar rums, but I got diplomatico as dessert. Sweet, tasty, flavourful, fruity dessert. I believe the popularity lies here. Diplomatico have no character. It's smooth, sweet and slick as the finest diplomat. And this is it's place in rum world - distinctive diplomatic dessert.

Snad nejvíc přeceňovaný rum....jeho obliba spočívá v doslazování....nic pro hledače autentického rumu

Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva was my first sipping rum. It was the best (drinking) choice I’d done at the time.
I used to mix my rum with lemon juice or coke but not this one. Drinking it neat is the way to go.
It's sweeter than other rum i've tasted, that make it a good suggestion for someone who want to begin exploring rum section.

It is trully one of the greatest rums I have tried and one that I will continue to drink in the years to come.

It is very well balanced and its price is really low in comparison to its quality and taste

Taste: Caramel, toffee, vanilla , spicy at the end

Nose: maple syrup, orange, brown sugar

Very sweet. I love this rum but bordering on too sweet. Almost no bite. Put it in an old fashioned and it was too sweet with a sugar cube

Wow!! What a fantastic rum for your money the toffee smell, plus the taste, and smooth balance is a taste bud bomb . I could go on more about the the flavors and textures that I can taste but I feel there's no need, I know that if you like your better rums this is a must... and I promise you won't be disappointed. This rum is now my favorite after the Ambassador and the Single Vintage of course.
