Ferment with Venezuelan sugar cane honey, distilled in copper pot still and aged in small oak cask for 12 years.
Lots of sweet spices in the glass and somehow reminds me of flavour coffee (caramel vanilla latte), barley water with pandan leaves. Wet wood with touch of salt and smokiness.
Woody with touch of smokiness, warm banana fritters with caramel and vanilla sauce, bitterness of cocoa and cherry liqueur.
Herbicoious finishing with caramel, toffee and vanilla lingering. Sweet, salty and bitter finishing.
Good tasty rum that last for a short time. Is a good drink for a beginner and gifts a beautiful feeling in de mouth.
If you like very sweet and mild you cannot go wrong with this.
Too sweet for me, also missing some rough Pirate punch in your face.
Good bang for the buck.
This rum tastes great, first rum i might only drink pure. The taste is so smooth, i really like it.
I like this rum. But if you take away it's syrup-like sweetness not much remains of it's taste. For sure a good sipping time with it, well worth it's price, but good rum is a whole different thing.
To me a bit too sweet and spicy but it's a nice rum. I like this neat but i feel there are more special rums out there. But for the price (30 euro's) its pretty good.
This is a staple in my cabinet. A great rum to break in new people to drinking rum. Not too harsh or overbearing and quite smooth. An excellent value for the price.
This is what I buy when theyre out of el dorado thats why this gets a 7 & el dorado gets an 8.
"The palate evokes chocolate sauce and the sweet toffee, fudge and tropical fruit flavours from the nose"
"The nose is dominated by notes of caramel, toffee and crème. On the back end of the aromas, I can detect a hint of smoke and pineapple"

Smells sweet. It is fruity, oranges, grapes and raisins with scents of chocolate and a sweet almost syrupy.
"The tasting notes on the site are very accurate vanilla, fudge/toffee sauce are noticeable as are notes of vanilla and a finish which is slightly bitter like cocoa which leaves a hit of oakiness on the taste buds. The finish is pretty short. ."

Strong and sweet works ok with ice and lemon. Also too dark for a 0-12 rum.
