I usually mix my rums as most are a little strong for me neat, however this was very nice neat with a tiny bit of ice. Smooth, not over powering. Very nice addition to the collection :-)
This rum is just delicious in my opinion. If you like a sweet rum with a lot of flavor, this one is it. I know some people like more of a dry rum, in which case this isn't the one for you. There are a lot of complex flavors in this, and it tastes like some sort of wonderful rum candy.
The best value for money bottle of Rum .... smooth and lovely aftertaste
My favorite rum so far, very smooth, sweet and flavorful, rich but not overwhelming. Great for zipping and enjoying the complex flavors.
Very good rum have had in the bar for a while now and has been doing fantastic.
Excellent rhum à siroter sans glace.
Sucré comme je l'aime , facile à boire, bon rapport qualité prix.
The bottle looks older than the rum, love the dull finish. I would never think of mixing it. Maybe a big oversized ice cube, and let it sit. Some say it's too sweet but that's a matter of taste, who says good rum can't be a little sweet?
Has notes of vanilla, smooth, no spice, just aged and smokey delicious!
"The palate evokes chocolate sauce and the sweet toffee, fudge and tropical fruit flavours from the nose"
"The nose is dominated by notes of caramel, toffee and crème. On the back end of the aromas, I can detect a hint of smoke and pineapple"

Smells sweet. It is fruity, oranges, grapes and raisins with scents of chocolate and a sweet almost syrupy.
"The tasting notes on the site are very accurate vanilla, fudge/toffee sauce are noticeable as are notes of vanilla and a finish which is slightly bitter like cocoa which leaves a hit of oakiness on the taste buds. The finish is pretty short. ."

Easy drinking, sweetened, vanilla right through the taste with a smooth finish.
