2022 Update:
Cracked open a bottle to enjoy sipping, but now find this rum very sweet…too sweet. Dropping my rating to a 6 from a 9.

Nice to sip neat at room temp. Fell in love with it in the Grand Cayman.

Cracked this bottle open and was treated to a very good experience. The nose is very sweet with caramel and vanilla notes dominating. Maybe just the slightest spice. On the palate it mimics the nose fairly close with the same sweet taste initially, a little spice comes in and then a slight sweet burn. Finally a warm feeling as it goes down. Overall a very pleasant experience for me. Recommend for sipping neat or mixing. Cheers!

It's gone down quick! Great sipping rum with a caramel, vanilla flavour.

This is a must taste rum. The flavour is rich and deep. It is not a sweet rum, however the mouth feel is just fantastic. The colour is darker than most rums and it looks great in a glass. The bottle has a pretty cool looking design featuring a vintage styled photo and almost a vintage postcard vibe in my opinion. So in conclusion, it is a very rich rum that I believe everyone should taste.

This was my first rum and it got me interested in sipping and well... Rum in general. I only get oak from the nose. But then again I only just started. I personally like it on the rocks more than neat.

Purchased -yes. Aroma - not too strong. Taste - quality - not as thick as I expected. Good finish, smooth and not burning. Would I buy again - £32.00 UK - yes. Many things to like about this - but not as overboard as some people go for it. It's good. Not a ten. Most things aren't. But worth the money.

There's not much to be said about this one. It just Works. There is alot of Sugar added to this rum so that's one note to be aware of before buying. Despite the amount of added sugar, this rum goes does very nicely. There's lots of toffees and caramels, molasses flavours. I found that it's easy to drink more of this than you normally would. Would recommend.

An enjoyable rum. You would almost forget you’re drinking rum. It’s really soft, no strong alcohol taste and maybe to sweet for me to give an 8.

A very mild rum with fine aromas of vanilla with the typical rum sweetness
