Rumson's Coffee Rum is an exceptionally smooth, rich, and decedent coffee flavoured rum. At 80 Proof, it packs a punch, without the bitter and obnoxious alcohol many others tend to have. The coffee flavour is rich, aromatic, and sweet, but not cloying and overpowering. It's smooth on the finish, with the lingering essence of dark chocolate. I recommend it straight on the rocks, or in a crafted coffee cocktail.
Much stronger coffee taste than I expected. Very smooth.
I tried this at tasting in NH. This Rum is amazing. This is the best Coffee spirit I have ever tried! It is rich and decadent. Amazing coffee flavor. 80 proof an easy to drink straight. The guy described it as Columbian Arabica coffee. It is more coffee then coffee. I drink it straight.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

I am a rum noob and bought this on a whim when looking for something to pair eggnog besides the default and mediocre Captain Morgan's, etc. I was totally shocked when I first opened the bottle and gave it a whiff. I though "if this is half as good as it smells this will be great rum". Turns out it base almost just as good as it smelled. The marketing description was pretty apt and it's probably the smoothest and most delicious rum I've tasted, though again my experience is very low. It takes more like a liqueur IMO vs a straight rum.
