Whistler Master Solera

Unique sherry tones. Quite interesting, but nothing special.

Drank this rum as a part of the green rum box. Tried it neat, like all of the rums from the box. I quite enjoyed this one. Convinced me into deciding to try buying a bottle of this brand in the future. However, this particular one isn't available as a bottle, as it was a box exclusive bottling.

Tastes after tannins, you get this spicy port note from it, different to anything I tasted before but a miss nonetheless.

Duft: Det dufter nærmest ikke af noget.
Smag: lidt røg, peber, let brændt sukker, prikker på tyngen, balancen imellem alkohol og sødme er god.
Point: 4 (masser af mundfylde, men det svære de forkerte smags noter)

I liked the sherry overtones, it was something unique, finally. But I didn´t like the scent.
