Whistler Special Edition

.... for this special edition. this is a solid 6 and falls just short of sipping. That extra 6% is noted from the start, is incredibly smooth and gives my mouth a nice big hug. Nothing wrong with the nose or taste but its just not speaking to me with any special notes or stand outs. I hope 24 days brings us future special/limited editions to enjoy. I really appreciated this one!

The smell is pretty weird, taste is quite sweet with medium burn. Nothing special.

Not bad. Medium burn. Raisins and honey on the palate. Sweet but not overly complex

Candy flavor but without added sugar, flavoring comes purely from wooden barrel I think.

Whilst rather tasty and full of flavours, it is a bit on the sweet side and has a rough omnipresent burn. I would surely mix it, but would not recommend as a sipper. Based on tastin a 2cl sample brewed for the rum calendar (red label)

Meget fin rom, som smager og dufter sf rom. Meget rom-agtig.

Aroma is warm and a bit spiced.
Taste is sweet, with many different tones - almost like mix of 3 or 4 rums. You can find wood, red fruit, porto, cognac and wine. Not bad in general, but also not special. Aftertaste is average long and bittersweet.

Nice color, good taste, and nice finish, good drinking for night. 6/10

Strange smell. Delayed burn. Strong and not so pleasant taste

Quite ok with a strong burn at the end. Nice flavor and smell.
