Takamaka 2022 Blanc

A good friend offered me a glass of this rum brought home from the Seychelles by his daughter.
The brand Takamaka is produced in Seychelles at the Trois Frères Distillery distillery and this one was distilled in 2022 and bottled at ABV 43%.
From nose, via palate to the medium long finish is it fruity, vegetal, floral and sweet with aromas and tastes of citrus and lime.
Overall an OK quite tasty unaged rum.

Nose: fresh, clear aromas of sugar cane and molasses, followed by slightly fruity hints of tropical fruits
Palate: soft and mouth-filling - now clearly ripe mangoes and pineapple, paired with brown cane sugar
Finish: medium-long finish - fruits and sugar are present
