Destilováono: 2021
Estery: 555 g/hlpa
Chuť: Nálož esterů, tinktury, třtiny a ředidla. Po chvíli velmi pálivá.
Dozvuk: Ředidlo, tinktura, dotyk shnilého ovoce a decentně hořknoucí travnatost. Velmi dlouhý.
Sladkost: 0/3

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

My good friend Björn “Romsoffan” offered me a glass of this somehow different Foursquare at Foursquare Appreciation Day, released by Habitation Velier.
It’s what Richard Seale call, a Long Fermentation Type (LFT). It’s a Pot Still from both molasses and cane juice with Esters 555 gr/hlpa, which is the same level as HLCF from Jamaica.
The nose is sweet, intense and complex with some grassiness and hints of vanilla and esters.
At the palate the aromas can be tasted with less sweetness but also spicy with hints of pepper, chili, salt and cinnamon.
The finish is rather long, thanks to the ABV.
Overall a very interesting rum from Foursquare which is partly reminiscent of white Jamaica rum and Rivers Antoine from Grenada.
