My daughter brought this back from Peru as she laid over in Bogata. so glad she did as this is a wonderful sip. No alcohol smell or taste, just a warmth that lingers and is associated in only the best way. not sure what all the notes are, other than I believe i would say coffee, but can say they are smooth and very pleasant and not too sweet. Recommend!
Solid sipper, but at $50 there are other more complex and tasty alternatives.
Little bit of a burn, but a decent rum. Definitely has a coffee taste, but overall a decent flavor. The burn is why I rated it a 6, otherwise it would be a seven.
Came across this in Colombia and for the price it is an awesome value. Super flavorful and would definitely recommend.

Excellent smell and taste despite the small amount of sugar. I was very surprised. Well rounded/balanced caramel flavor.
Cheers!
It should be a cocktail rum, though if you add some ice it carves the edges down and is drinkable neat. Strong chocolate nose and harsh after-burn .
Nice rich smell of caramel and toffee with orange fruity notes.
"It is zesty and spicy with more pronounced orange flavour. There is also a red grape flavour which is very pleasant."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

I picked up a set in Colombia after trying a shot of this great rum in a rooftop bar. I left it for a while and got reminded when I was in the Czech Republic where this rum appears a lot. It's smooth very smooth a beauty but misses some richness. I haven't found a good mixer for this one yet, but I've seen it being used in quite some rum based old fashion cocktails.
Ideal for those who love a good chocolate caramel burn.
