La Hechicera Extra Anejo rum Is distilled using the solera method and aged between 12 and 21 years in American white oak casks.
La Hechicera rum has been produced by the The Riasco family for the past two decades. They're the only family-run Rum distillery in Colombia. The rum derives its name from the Spanish word “Hechicera” which translates to “enchantress”.

It certainly doesn't deserve less than 7, especially for the excellent value for money. However, i expected more from this well-advertised product, light hints of citrus on the nose and not very persistent in mouth. Instead the tasting with intense coffee notes is very good.
A solera rum this bottle is smooth from first pop of the cork reminds me close to the Dictador 20 rum and is very easy drank straight or mixed

Buono. Sapore non troppo alcolico e si beve bene. Persistente in bocca.
Vynikající rumík; vůbec první z těch, co jsem pil, který chutná po švestkách (a míním samozřejmě dokonale zralé čerstvé bosenské švestky, ne ty zkvašené slivky, po kterých smrdí Arcane Cane Crush). Kupodivu je v tom méně kávy, než by se od kolumbijské kořalky dalo čekat, ale jinak velmi leccos - s každým panákem se vynořuje něco nového, takže baroví "degustátoři" mají smůlu. Na to, že má být bez jakýchkoli additiv, je až neuvěřitelně "chlebově" hutný. Přitom ale suchý, žadné doslazované srágotágo. Pije se lehce jako víno, což s sebou ovšem přináší drobné riziko, že se za chvíli ožerete jako kůň. Přičteme-li k tomu skvostně kýčovitou láhev, která po technické ani designové stránce nemá chybu, je jasné hodnocení i praktický verdikt: nejenže u jediné "ečisery" rozhodně nezůstanu, ale navzdory trochu vyšší ceně se momentálně stala mým jednoznačným favoritem.

Plain dry rum notes of oak and Orange. Not sweet at all.
Sedím v restauraci a koukám, že v rumovém lístku je přírůstek, tak ochutnám. Hechcera mi přijde jako rum z řady Centenario 12y, Botran Solera 18y, Ophyum 12y. Uleželý, kultivovaný, nepřeslazený, jemný. Trošku chybí plnost na kterou jsem zvyklý u Oliver & Oliver, ale je hned o fous za nimi.

Drinkable but not very interesting solera (stop making those!). Oh and its ovepriced. Completely useless rum when you have Mount Gay XO etc.
