Sweet rock. Nothing unique in my opinion. Way to sweet.
This is a very flavorful rum, without being too sweet, but not bitter. It is good enough to sip without using a mixer with it.
Plenty of vanilla but it is too sweet for my liking. If by chance you mix it with coke then it is almost its own unique cocktail. Somewhere between a root beer and a cream soda. Might take me awhile to down this bottle because of the sweetness. If you are looking for a different spiced rum for your middleshelf, then this could be it.
Cinnamon and vanilla aroma, smooth taste with a cinnamon edge, sweetness, short aftertaste of sweetness and cinnamon
Duft: karamel, vanilje, varme krydderier. Score: 3
Smag: karamel, kokos, peber. Score: 3
Alt for sød
The bottle look good.
For a flavoured rum it is good
Had a glass of this spiced rum after a better dinner at Såstaholms Castle just north of Stockholm.
The Canerock Jamaica Spiced is pot still rum from Clarendon and Long Pond bottled by Alexandre Gabriel and Maison Ferrand.
It’s infused with vanilla, coconut and ginger. Thereafter it’s aged for 6 months in PX-Sherry barrels and finally it gets a dosage of 25gpl of sugar.
The nose is sweet and spicy with aromas of coffee, vanilla and chocolate.
In mouth and at the palate it’s thick, sweet and spicy with flavors of raisin, coconut and ginger.
The finish is medium long.
Overall a way too sweet rum in my opinion.
Picture: My poured glass together with the bottle at Såstaholms Castle.
On the nose:heavy on vanilla, coconut & maraschino cherry.Taste:vanilla, coconut chocolate covered cherries.tried it neat first sip I got a lot of burn a little sweet. On ice it toned it down quiet a lot buttery smooth on the front not overly sweet. But not as good as Bumbu or Diplimatico. It doesn’t taste like rum will not buy this again not worth $65.00.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

The embossed features of the bottle drew me as interesting and unique. I could taste some flavor to the rum, but the alcohol burn starts early and is really harsh swallowing. Nothing so bad that mixing with soda can't fix, though.
