Flavour of coconut and vanilla bean. Very sweet. Would be good for mixing but not complex and too sweet as a sipper
I’ve had better spiced rums to be honest. This one isn’t terrible but isn’t amazing either. The nose has a powerfully sweet aroma that mimics spiced syrup. The taste has a bit more complexity but not much. The finish starts smoothly but then changes to an artificial sweetness. Overall, if you’re into spiced rums you may enjoy this but for me it’s just a mixing rum.
I saw the bottle with the sea turtle on it. Brought back memories of Jamaica so I bought it on a whim.
I was pleasantly surprised. The nose is subtle and understated for the flavor of the rum. The color is cool honey. The taste is a smooth complexity that one can enjoy sipping.
I am pleased with it and recommend giving it a try.
Tried just one small glass yesterday at friends wedding and it was enough for the rest of my life. However I wasn't disappointed because I didn't expect much... and I was right. Rum for masses who drink sweetened liqueurs and present themselves as rum drinkers. Very sweet, taste of added sugar and vanilla totally overpowering everything. Oily texture, sirupy feeling in mouth. Definitely very expensive for what it is. Nice bottle on outside, bad hangover inside.
6,5:On the nose, the rum gently settles on a bed of sweet spices. It's coated with cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla, like a smooth coconut punch. One could even speak of a creamy rum, so mellow and delicate are the aromas. With a little swirling of the liquid in the glass, the spices are released in a cloud of fragrance reminiscent of incense or patchouli.
6,5:The palate is very pastry-like, with sweet spices such as vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon, as well as a buttery, brioche-like sensation. The roundness is balanced, and the coconut milk and almond are quite tasty, as in a profile of American oak taken to the extreme.
6:The sweetness remains on the finish, roundedness vains a little bit...
Small print:We still have to point out, that this is spiced rum....
Too sweet, very artificial tasting. My wife loves a bottle buy, and she's been eyeing this one for a while. Thankfully we were able to try it at a rum tasting. Thank goodness, because we both disliked it. It's only saving grace is that it's not all vanilla, like many spiced rums, but it tastes artificial and far too sweet. There are much better spiced rums (Chairman's Reserve and Lemon Hart come to mind).
Sweeter vanilla and caramel notes rather than overwhelming spice. Recommendable as a far superior rum for those who enjoy a Captain Morgan styled spiced rum
Výborný sladkastý rum. Vôňa jemná, ale pri silnejšom nádych zaštípe alkohol. Chuť delikátna po bielej čokoláde a leskových orechoch. Zábavný rum.

Laka Lono. Dark amber. Plastic aroma. Huge vanilla and chocolate flavor. Super sweet. Just too sweet.
