Very good on the nose but the alcool taste is a bit omnipresent, better that generic white rums though

I only bought this one once in the past year and never bothered to submit a review. Their Bond Number 8 is one that I always keep plenty of on hand. As for this white rum, it is good, but simply cannot compete with my top ranked white rums.

A very good light rum. Smith with no harsh aftertaste. Will buy again.

Similar to the gold from them, there's nothing special going on. As a white rum however, I give it a little more leeway. Still better options out there at the price

Very smooth for a white rum. Drinkable on it's own.

I got this as part of the Rum Ratings tasting kit, and I feel it is one of the better light rums I've had.

Has a nice sweet hint to it, with sugar cane, olive, and some clove. Very good for the price!

Wow. Extremely smooth for a white rum. Very little burn on the finish. This is one of the better white rums I’ve had.

Clear in the glass, a bit of fruit and alcohol on the nose. A bit harsh initially, but smoothes out, and has a smoother finish.

A solid white rum

Nose is of licorice, taste is of agua ardiente, burn is good, but finish is like fabreeze but not in a bad way

The nose is pears and alcohol astringence. It is almost like the nose of vodka, but a little sweeter. It is meaty rather than subtle. The taste mirrors the nose. It begins with soft citrusy notes and grows into a bitter alcohol bite. The finish is long and buttery with maybe a hint of artificial banana. I can imagine this as the base for a great pina colada, a mojito, a daquiri or any of the other fruity tropical drinks, but not a cuba libre. It is not an easy sipping rum. But it is an outstanding white rum for mixing. This makes it hard to rate. I give it a conservative 6.
