Part of a Planteray tasting at Kill Devil Rum Club's August meeting at Laka Lono.
Appearance: gold
Aroma: honeydew
Flavor: funk
Notes: this is a hotter rum than I easily relate to, but I appreciated the complexity. Flavors of roots and overturned potted plant with a drying palate.

Sampled on 6-26-24 at the Lake Loon Kill Devil Rum Club tasting event hosted by Adrienne Stoner of Planteray Rums. Pours amber in color. This has a crazy marshmallow flavor. Caramel corn to boot. A strong toasted woodiness. Hot spicy red pepper finish. The "JAWS" name comes from an initial of each of the 4 people who created this.
