Flor de Caña 25-Year

top rum ever! the whole bottle consumed neat over the first few months of the year, Hope to get another soon as local stores are out

I updated this review, after an initial disappointment.

The first glass left me wondering what the fuss was all about, the second was not a success either.

But I gave it another shot... and I was not disappointed at all! Full bodied taste, and a real enjoyment. Beautiful deep amber color, and very good looking bottle and box.

The only bad thing is that I finished the bottle since then.

Very good bottle of rum, with vanilla flavors, but not my taste, i did not liked it, and won't buy it again, also overpriced in my view.

Lidt skarp alkohol lugt, når den lige er kommet i glasset. Og lidt skarp smag i starten. God smag minder mig lidt om de gode cubanske rom, men eftersmagen er lidt skuffende i forhold til dem. (kort)

Amazing spirit! Very complex rum, is like an explosion of flavors on your palate. Surprisingly not super woody for a 25 yeras. I almost feel like im not even qualify to review this rum, this was made for the pros!

I used to be a scotch drinker and after trying this I am a 25 year Flor De Cana drinker. Best tasting aged spirit I have ever tried.

A pleasant spicy flavor with rich smoothness on the tongue. Beautiful rich color. Hint of dry fruit and mild sweetness. Slight tobacco smell as it dries in the glass. Very nice.

First it's sharp of taste. This rum must be first acclimate! after acclimate it's smoother

Purchased a sample from Master of Malt for £11.52.

Wonderful super premium rum, ultra smooth and wonderfully complex! Floral and sweet on the nose, in the mouth it's fruity, rich and oak with a touch of spice and a long finish.

The Flor de Caña 25 is beautifully presented in a tasteful box with the elegant rectangular bottle we associate with the higher end Flor de Caña rums. The aroma is slightly sweet and entices you to dive in. This is a smooth rum, with no bite and very little burn. You get the caramel, slight smoke and oak with an aftertaste that makes me want to keep sipping to prolong that aftertaste. I'm still trying to find my "10" rum, but this is my favorite sipping rum so far.
