good sipper for a fair price, bit too sweet but acceptable, very smooth

This was a really nice surprise, I do like it. I believe that it is a match for pricier rums.

The beginning of fragrant cognac and candies, sweet, light spice, not alcoholic, the taste is dominated by bee glue, completes the pleasant finish of sweets and cognac.

Начало ароматного коньяка и конфет, сладкий, лёгкая пряность, не спиртуозный, во вкусе доминирует прополис ,завершает приятный финиш конфет с коньяком.

Great tasting rum as a sipper, enjoy the taste and aroma. A friend introduced me to this rum and I love it. Still have a bit of it in my cabinet, don’t want to finish it as I can’t find another bottle.

Good for sipping. Smooth enough. Strong nose and flavor of cherries and almonds. Nice.

A főleg édes rum kedvelőinek fog tetszeni ez a rum. Nagyon lágy és itatós rum. Ízben nem karcos ám nem is annyira erős.

Très doux même trop doux, on dirait une liqueur. On sent amende et coconut, au goût une touche amande vanille sucre brun.

La prima cosa che attira è la bottiglia, molto bella, tonda che dovrebbe ricordare una tipologia di sottomarini sferici che venivano inabissati con una piccola persona all'interno.
Al naso sprigiona un ottimo profumo, intenso, un poco dolce, di miele, forse vaniglia.
Al palato il sapore si sprigiona, è un rum morbido e setoso.
Io ci sento amaretto, caramello, molto buono.
La persistenza è media, medio alta.
Saranno le botti di cognac in cui è contenuto, in produzione, ma questa caratteristica lo rende molto piacevolmente godibile.
All'apparenza dà l'impressione di essere meno alcoolico di altri rum, ma in realtà ha i soliti 40°.
Questa volta bravi i Francesi a produrlo!

I dont know what this product is supposed to be like a Rum liquor or something but it has added brown sugar and tastes strongly of fruit, this is more like a cough medicine or a desert syrup than Rum and quite frankly it was a disgusting surprise to my palate as I was expecting a rum that tasted like cognac from reviews, this tastes like someone made strong alcholic version of icecream syrup and I fear you will get fat from drinking a bottle of this. The only good side of this product is that it smells nice and it goes down smoothly. If sweet is your thing then go ahead but honestly this is not even close to Rum. Maybe mix it in a cocktail or add it to another rum but honestly this stuff is rather gross.

Quite tasty, can be enjoyable in small amounts, reasonably priced :)
