Really good looking bottle. Nice amber color, smell with caramel hints. Smooth taste and no wood taste. I like it and definetly will try 18 and 23 years

Great sipping rum to enjoy with a good cigar, with notes of vanilla and caramel this rum leaves your mouth with a delicious silky aftertaste. Love it and have recommended it to several friends and family!

The appearance of the bottle makes it stand out to start with. Pull the cork, yes cork, and the aroma is sweet warm oaky and welcoming, but not overly strong. Over ice the taste is very smooth, subtle with oak, vanilla, honey and molasses taste. The aftertaste is dry, but no burn, slightly sweet, but not offensive. For the price this is one to ad to the favourites list.

This bottle was a gift off my fella and I must say I am not disappointed. It's lively with just a cube of ice but I love it with a can of ginger beer. It really fetches out the sweetness and flavour of the rum. You can really catch the oak and the vanilla. Fabulous x

Overall pretty good. Hints of vanilla and oak initially along with a sharp alcohol mouth burn, but the follow-up makes it good. No alcohol after burn and the flavors blend smoothly as you finish the drink.

Hefty oak flavours backing a traditional amber rum flavour. Apricot, vanilla essence entwined behind very full-body tastes. Phenomenal sipping rum, hefty enough flavour to carry highballs, cocktails. An all around perfect rum.

My favorite sipper in this price range, you cannot beat the value. Vanilla undertones and smooth as can be.

The problem with this one is that I don't have one in front of me, since I drank it all.
I'm not in a mad rush to get another, but I have had two bottles of it now -not like, literally.
It's pretty easy to drink ... not too much tongue-burning or throat tickling.
It has a gentle sweetness, caramel with soft oak.
I can't remember spices or how it finishes, but I get the feeling of fading sweetness.

It is remarkably unremarkable, which in itself is quite remarkable.
Its around £35 per bottle ... which weighs a lot
A couple of quid more and you could be drinking Mount Gay XO

Floral and bright on the palate. 80 proof keeps the burn down. Easy to sip. A welcome addition to any cabinet

Well I found this on a shelf at a party My own take on it was that the bottle is awesome. the rum, not so much. Simple, bitter not bad on ice but not something I will buy. Could be the host had topped it with something?
