Legendario Elixir de Cuba 7-Year

Drinkable but with a glycerin syrup feeling. Very Sweet. Bad choice even for the relatively low price. Actually there is nothing complex or intriguing to that rum, so I won’t buy again.
I guess maybe is a just OK choice if your are coming from a liqueur / ursus /north (but definitely not rum whiskey or cognac) background.

Yes, it's very sweet. A ladies rum so to speak. But actually it's not a bad rum at all, it's a good sipper, ideal for parties.

Moja polovička a jej kamarátky obľubujú sladké likéry a som rád, že hlavne tie rumové. A tento je určite jeden z tých lepších, tak prečo ho neotestovať. Fľaša je štýlová, štíhla a tmavá, s visačkou kubánskej vlajky. Kvitujem praktický plastový vnútorný sosák, vďaka ktorému nalejete len toľko, koľko treba. Vôňa je sladká, príjemne rumová. Chuťovo ide o veľmi podobný produkt ako je Capitan Bucanero, dominuje med, hrozienka, prezreté ovocie a trochu aj káva. Drink je vychutený naozaj fajnovo, len je skutočne strašne sladký. Ale k špeciálnym príležitostiam a na zamrznutom svahu urobí tých 34% človeku dobre. Na bežné pitie odporúčam skôr pre ženy, ozajstný ruman si dá niečo pravšie, orechovejšie ;). Cena je ale úplne v poriadku, rating od 6 hore dávam len pravým rumom.

I'd say it's a ladies' drink. Nothing for rum lovers, I can imagine mixing this into sweet cocktails, but that's not what we want here I guess. Definitely can't imagine pairing it with a cigar for instance.. Not even a beginner's choice, this is really just a syrup. Even for this (low) price there are better options.

Maybe just good choice if you want to overdrink and spend the day after in coma.

I like sweet elixirs / spirits and this one is soooo sweet with nice taste of raisins :-) Honestly, if I want to sip with my wife, this one is No. 1 choice.

This Elixir has a nice dark color and sweet aroma that tells you a lot about the taste. Sweet rum, with a slight burn on the tongue at first, escalates into a taste similar to sherry. The long honey and raisin aftertaste is really pleasant. I absolutely love it, even when it's not a "classic" rum.

Tenhle mám rád, ale člověk si jich nemůže dát víc. Zalepí vám to celé patro. Oblibený hlavně u něžného pohlaví.

Provařený elixír, velmi oblíbený, o chloupek lepší než Capitan Bucanero.
Skvělý do vánočního cukroví.

Uplne mi unika pomerne vysoke hodnotenie tohto rumu. Prilis sladky liker, asi skor zenska zalezitost. Pre mna samotny nepozivatelny.
