I relatively enjoy the most famous presentation of legendario, the "Elixir de Cuba" version. I was looking forward to tasting this bottle when it first came out.
This punch au rhum is pretty sweet even to the point of annoyance, but still acceptable. This is where the similarities with elixir end, as Punch just smells and tastes very chemical and it really strongly reminds me of low-end strawberry vodka. There is no real connection or reminiscence of rum in the product, and it just doesn't bring any other serious qualities. Worse yet, I simply don't enjoy the taste.
Tried mixing it and this makes as good rum and coke as any, but even there I would have just preffered a solid white rum instead (or perhaps go for a more complex cocktail with something good). Do not reccomend this one.
