Legendario Elixir de Cuba 7-Year

In 2007 at the Legendario factory in Havana on Cuba I drank this for the first time and for me it was love at first drink. And today I still love it.
And with Coke? I never tried. Maybe in future.

Not bad but no the best. Syrupy. Not a lot of flavour but a decent light after dinner sipper.

This is not a rum, is a liquor and not at good one at that.
Sweet and nothing else.

I found the molasses too pronounced on this rum to the point where one can miss its true original flavor. More of a party drink than a smooth tranquil rum experience.

I found this rum nice and sweet but then again I like slightly sweet drinks. If you are a hardcode rum drinker however you might find this too soft on the palate and there are not many flavours going around.

Si lascia bere come una coccola e men che non si dica la bottiglia è vuota.

Sweet cake for deserts.. Caramell, rasins, chocolate..

The family classic, a good aperitif for good money, we still have at home and the price is also very favorable, the wife is excited about it. And why not, the taste is well-tuned and alcohol is just right for less able drinkers :-)

Rodinná klasika, za dobrý peníz dobrý aperitiv, stále máme doma a cena je taky velmi příznivá, manželka je z něj nadšená. A proč ne, chuť je správně vyladěná a alkoholu tak akorát i pro méně zdatné pijáky :-)

Middle and lower class, but still better than some of the expensive ones.

It’s a rum liqueur and not a rum.
The base is a legendary 7-year-old Cuban rum, infused with honey and raisins. I find it a little sweet but very good.
