Don Papa Small Batch Rum is produced by the Bleeding Heart Rum Company on the southern island of Negros in the Philippines. The rum is distilled from molasses, then aged for over 7 years in American oak barrels, and lastly charcoal filtered.
The name Don Papa rum was inspired by Papa Isio, a leader of the Philippine revolution against the Spanish who led his island to independence before joining the main revolutionary movement.

How is that possible? I saw in my store this is winner if some category. Cant understand. Good but only good and too much vanilla flavour for me
Nice sweet rum to start exploring the world of rum. Sweet, lots of vanilla and citrus.
Very soft sweet rum, probably artificially sweetened
Very flavoured, very ornaged and vanilla - one od the worst rums ever
I took it together with the 12 year old and it seemed very inferior sweet and vanilla tones but I was not convinced my palate wins parce away
The rum has a quite strong artificial nose of vanilla and caramel. I like it on the rocks but it is to sweet to have more than 1 or max. 2 glasses....
Was soll ich sagen, total normal und gar keine besonderen Akzente. Der Preis ist gefühlt zu hoch.

Smells a lot like a vanilla and lemonade ice cream float.
"For all its sweet sugariness, its really very drying and bitter on the palate once it all settles down."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Bad taste, it's like drinking coughsyrup. Tastes nothing like rum.
