Delicioso para el ron y coca cola, la relación precio calidad para un ron que se mezcla con soda, es de10!
This rum will be part of my collection (my ten best), and it is a rum for an everyday sipping. For a good price a very good rum.
Not the rum for me is dry and too complex with a cigar, or to mix will be good, but is not too cheap to be mix.
I found it as christmas present from my father. Not my firts choice in bar, but still better as socks packing:)
One of the better rums in this price range from Dominica republic.
If you want a sipping rum that won't set you back $50 this isn't a bad choice. I would order this at the Iberostar in Punta Cana because all their other local stuff (Brugal) was less than drinkable. If you're on a budget in the USA and like rum, this is a good choice.
Een zeer lekker rum voor wat het kost lekker puur. Maar nog beter met cola heerlijk
Ron barcelo est bon comme son ti frere qui l'est aussi, l'ANEJO, bon goût mais plus fin.
I've probably been overly generous in my marking but this was the rum that got me into collecting and tasting them.
Until I tried this I'd only had basic rums, mixed with cokes. It blew me away. Such depth and complexity, like a cognac.
This is a recent retesting.
Leathery nose.
Some tobacco and caramel to taste, some burnt honey, something else a bit bitter and a slightest hint of vegetation.
Not much of an aftertaste and everything fades pretty quickly. Maybe because it's just 38%.
Still a very good rum.
"ends with a carrot cake ice cream taste"

The nose is light and gentle.
"It’s quite nicely balanced but just a little bit too nice."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
