Barcelo Imperial rum is produced in the Dominican Republic using column stills before aged in white oak casks for up to 10 years.
Ron Barcelo was founded in 1929 by Spanish entrepreneur Julian Barcelo in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The brand was sold mainly in the Caribbean and North America until a much broader international expansion began in 1992.

On sent bien que ce rhum comporte du sucre mais pas trop et il est bon. Assez gras avec des notes de noix assez présentes. Excellent au niveau qualité/prix.

On vacation, I drank this every evening in my Punta Cana hotel bar. The first bottle had a subtle but tolerable cork taint, but the second one was perfect.
I'm glad this product is available locally, I developed a certain addiction to its vanilla taste.

Byl jsem hodně zvědavý jak bude chutnat. A určitě mne nezklamal. Trochu nasládlejší a chuťově výborný. Za mě palec nahoru.
Ωραίο ρούμι .... όχι κάτι ιδιαίτερα σπέσιαλ .... έντονη αίσθηση αλκοόλ στην πρώτη γουλιά , αλλά στην πορεία στρώνει και θυμίζει bourbon. .... όχι ιδιαίτερη μύτη. ... πίνεται ευχάριστα και σίγουρα αξίζει τα λεφτά του!
After blindly purchasing this one. I am glad to say I did. Makes a excellent addition to the collection and will be well enjoyed over ice.
