Dark brown sugar, toffee apples, stewed fruits, malmsey, oak and spices.

Very soft rum,
delicate even if a little tasteless,
nothing special.
I guess this is hard to find, but still worth of tasting. Propably would have another if I ever find one
Not my choice actually... Easy rum with very strong alcohol aftertaste. Maybe with coke...
The nose is heavy on the orange, but it really doesnt taste of much at all. No good as a sipper, but maybe ok as a mixer.
N- The same sinking feeling, this one bottled at 38%. But appeared fuller and buttery at first sniff, better delivery on the strength with pleasant oak scents, still the brown sugar nuance but not disturbing as this has more width with chain of aromas. Passionfruits, chocolate, box of coconut candy and get better as it breath in the glass. (87/21)
P- Nutmeg, cinnamon, toasty, orange, caramel with sweet sour pickled coating. Juicy and mouth watering sour fruits. (87/21)
F- Short-medium, dried fruits of orange, mango, butter cream. (86/20)
Body/Balance- Abnormally full at under strength, something added? Not sure, and no matter, well added. 87/21
Weighted Rate- 83pt

The presentation is impressive (the displayed bottle is incorrect), however this rum comes off very weak for the price.
The colour is a bit light and the legs are not strong.
The flavour palette is limited and mild, leading to a very average mouth feel.
Swallowing confirms the smoothness of this rum, however the flavours do not intensify at all.
Quite drinkable, however could well be used as a mixer.
At this price, a bit of a let down.
You only two cube of ice and nothing else. It just perfect.
Nice aged flavor with deep caramel undertones. When I say aged I mean with tastes closer to aged scotch. Easy to drink on the rocks, will remain in my arsenal.
"ends with a carrot cake ice cream taste"

The nose is light and gentle.
"It’s quite nicely balanced but just a little bit too nice."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

I really liked it, but unfortunately drank it right after Brugal Leyenda and that is why I see many flaws to it. I would say that flavours range in this rum is small and not very complex, still I wouldn't mind getting this botlle as a gift from someone for example...
Final verdict: Maybe some day I will give it another shot
