My mom brings this stuff back from Belize when she goes. I have had it there as well. As far as flavored rums go, this is the best I have had thus far (even though that really isn't saying much at all). I can tolerate and even slightly enjoy this rum in the right circumstances (i.e. when lying in a hammock in Belize). It is drier and not near as syrupy or overly sweet like Malibu or Parrot Bay. All in all its quite alright for a flavored rum, I suppose. This in no way suggests that it is comparable to aged rums, just that its pretty good as far as flavored rums go.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

In Belize with the full array of Travellers rum. Saved a couple I thought were suspect to taste last, including this one, hoping the developing inebriation would spare me some discomfort. I was right to taste this one later rather than early. No redeeming taste characteristics. Decent mixer. And YES. Better than Bacardi!
