Rum zraje jen 4 roky, ale chutná stejně dobře jako jiné rumy s delší dobou zrání.
This was the first actual ron that i've tried and i found it really good and smooth to drink either pure/on ice or mixed. When drink it pure it tastes better with ice and on a mix i've tried a black mojito (receipt was on their own website) and it was just great. If you are more into mixing with soda i'd recommend dr. pepper instead of coke/pepsi.
Good mix of sweet and try
Not to ritch in flavor but one of the best value.
Nez assez classique, sans grande subtilité
La bouche est boisée, on sent l'alcool.
La finale n'est pas très longue.
Testé pur uniquement
Great mixer for the price. No crazy flavours but still pretty good
Хороший простой ром, можно пить в чистом виде или со льдом
We don't find Barcelo Rums locally so this was bought for curiosity. First sip bites a bit but then smoother. Not much nose or aftertaste but pleasant in the mouth. Curl up with a book and a glass and enjoy. Will buy more if I can find it again.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

1. owner (2023): Ron Barceló S.R.L. (Dominican Republic). founded in 1929. they only produce rum.
2. distillery (2023) and bottled: own plant in the north-west from San Pedro de Macorís (south-east of Dominicana)
declared, that rum produced with 100% sugarcane juice from own plantations. I got 37.5% version. also declared for up to six years in ex-bourbon oak casks for this rum...
well, from six years aging we should expect much more. the aroma is alcoholic and other nuances so subtle, that it is hard to distinguish something. but if to try, so I'd say that it's a some floral aroma. empty glinkern smells of prunes and raisins and maybe some nuts. or it is my fantasies from trying so hard to finnaly feel something.
on the palate: watery and alcoholic. aftertaste: short and alcoholic.
with cola: ok and even tasty...
so no reason to drink it neat, as it is obvious, it's a cocktail rum, no more
