Beautiful medium brown color, fabulous aroma and depth, only one cask from what I understand bottled at full 64.3%. I was lucky to find a remaining bottle in NY for my birthday. This is a classic bourbon barrel aged Foursquare masterpiece, aged 11 years in Barbados plus another 3 years in the UK that changes the profile slightly. Made it even better. If you lucky enough to find one of the few remaining bottles do not hesitate, this is a piece of history.
Quite a lot of coconut on the nose. Ripe banana, vanilla, a touch of peach.
"Vanilla and coconut creep back into the mix as your palate settles down to this rum. Stoned fruits and some red grapes give the mid palate a slightly tannic note."

Although I have yet to be able to get my own bottle here in FL, I have had the pleasure of tasting this rum twice on special occasions. This is a great Foursquare sourced rum that just sings. Bottled at cask strength and supremely drinkinable neat even so, this is a Bajan super rum that should be revered along side many of the other greats.
About as good as unadulterated, British-style rum gets. A feast for the senses and a rum for the ages. Bravo!
