Superior aroma, hints of chocolate in the aroma. Great smooth upfront flavour on the palate definitely a full tasting rum that falls off on the back of the tongue on a slightly rough note. Lets you know your drinking rum. A nice sipper that I like cold on the rocks but mixed traditionally as a cuba libra was very enjoyable after that. Will be testing their other offerings when I can find them as it took me two months to find and purchase this one.
Blend of various molasses rums. Could detect smoke and minor funky Jamaican notes on the nose up front. The palate is much milder than the smell, with the guyanese toffee notes and barbadoan smoothness. Short finish. Not an exceptional rum.
The colour and aroma rowers expectations that the taste does not keep. It's all there, it's just not quite smoothed or mellowed out. The wood and smokey taste is over in a flash leaving a sweet aftertaste, but it's all hidden and difficult to taste underneath the harshness. Maybe with time this will be one to watch.
A bit of a sharp taste to start. Good sipping rum.
This is a navy rum, hence the name given "tot." i found this rum in an old wine shop in a village and took it home with me. I soon got into the bottle. This rum is quite smooth for a navy rum and at 46.2% I was hoping for a bit more of a kick to it, more strength is definitely needed but it is a nice rum to be sipped on its own.
Nice notes of chocolate and coffee.
"Quite bitter with lots of treacly molasses and a real array of spices – lots of oak and ginger, with a touch of cinnamon and anise. Finish wise it is a reasonable length."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

I suppose I’m a little disappointed or maybe expected a bit more.
A rum consisting of Jamaican, Guyanese and Bajan rums really should offer more.
Good nose, great colour but slightly lacking in body.
Makes a very good dark & stormy, but that’s not really what I bought it for.
Graham.
