It's a natural rum for beginners. For conaisseurs it should be more intensive.
It's a Guyana, Panama, Domrep and Barbados blend. I'd prefer a 12 year version and more aromas from Barbados and Guyana.
The flavors are very bright and light. The combination of the flavors is not very interesting.
The taste is watery with vanilla, some tannins, citrus, pear and some apricot. The dilution is too high.
I would mix more Guyana PM inside and more Barbados rum to add orange flavors.
Because of the balance I would give 70 points.
Smell: vanilla, white oak, herbs, apricot, some citrus, wood
Taste: watery taste, slightly sweetness (not caramel), vanilla, some fruits (citrus, pear), grasy notes, tannins from the wood, some apricot
Finish: long spicy finish, warm burn, vanilla, pear, grasy notes
Sweetness: 1.5/5
Spice: 3.5/5
Fruit: 2/5
Mildness: 3.5/5
Value (35€): 2/5
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
