Saint James Royal Ambre 18-Mois

Average rum which gives a different twist to rum and coke due to the agricole taste to it. Much prefered to your typical bacardi and havana club.

This one is cool. Light and friuty rum. Very nice mixer and more than suitable for ti punch or mojito. Even drinkable on the rocks

This would be considered an inexpensive and introductory agricole rhum. The taste is on the harsher side with some burn. Not considered a sipper this rhum has some of the nuances found in many of the better Agricole on the market. Grassy, earthy flavor o the dry side. Not a bad rhum for the price but not comparable to the Neisson's, Clements and J.M' of the Agricole world.

Probably OK for mixing in a cocktail, not my favourite way of drinking rum, but not a rum that stands on his own

Sampled Saint James Royal Amber Rhum Agricole, which I found very dry. Not a fan of Rhum Agricole.

Goût : assez particulier , avec un boisé prononcé,limite résineux.
Finale : longue
Un rhum agréable, sans prétention et relativement bon marché.
Plutôt en cocktail.
Pour un bon St James, viser les XO.

Rhum agricole de base bon rapport qualité/prix un peu sec mais se voit bien pour débuter la soirée

Aging is 18-24 months. Agricole from Martinique

Color: deep, dark. I hope this is an aggressive barrel, not caramel

Aroma: slightly spirituous, typical herbal notes, licorice, vanilla, sweetness, cocoa
Taste: simple, but dense. Fortress in 45% is not felt. Sweetness, dry, fresh, flowery-herbaceous
Aftertaste: not long, warming, slightly harsh.

73 points and 6 points on the romreitings scale. This is a young golden agricole rum from Martinique. Likely it was made for cocktails, should be very interesting. It is quite pleasant to drink it in pure form, the youth is felt. Drinks well with typical notes for the agricole. For lovers of agricultural rum will have to taste.

Huge liquor aroma, doesnt has a good taste, and it is not an aged rum.

Pas mauvais, mais on ne sent pas les notes florales, il n'a pas un goût très marqué à part celui de l'alcool. À utiliser surtout en cocktail.
