This rum is great as the base of a tiki cocktail--something complicated and juicy. But it's a bit too much (for me) to be the star of a daiquiri. While I love the funk this rum brings, it lacks in richness--it's dry and can taste a little hollow.

very tasty , i add a little water to make it easier to sip this unique rum. not sweet, almonds jumps out

Kicks you in the mouth with classic jamaican funkiness. Its a bit too strong for me to drink neat. Great for tiki drinks.

Gotta be in a certain type of mood to have it.
Definitely must aerate to get full flavor.
Lots of prunes.

Lots of funk on the nose and palate. Really hot rum, with taste of funk and banana, and a long finish.

Better let this dilute in ice for a while if you plan on drinking straight.

Smith and Cross makes an amazinggggg Daquiri! It is def one of my go to’s. Don’t think there will be a time when I don’t have it on my shelf.

Excellent as a navy strength mixer. As a standard mixer for cocktails, I'm not a fan of the higher proof options, but that is a personal preference.
