Solid foursquare like always, consistently good, nose is heavy toffee full bodied and not watered down at all with its 48% abv, finish has peppery woody burn.

Balanced and complex. For this price it deserves a ten. Fruity and spicy in the same time...and chocolate notes! Excellent 👍

I generally enjoy Barbados rum, especially Mount Gay XO. I have also tried others from Four Square and rated them highly. Based on recommendations I was sure this was going to be a new favorite, so I bought a full bottle.

I’ve tried it 4 times now on different nights, and (to me) there is nothing but burn. I don’t really get anything on the nose, and the taste is just alcohol. I was expecting to at least get some wood notes based on the age. I thought maybe I was sick and lost my smell, but my other rums still taste/smell good. Did I get a bottle from a bad batch?

Very close to 12yo, did not feel much difference until you drink both side by side. Great nose. I prefer milder rums so rating it accordingly

Beautiful amber color. Nice woodsy smell, with a light butterscotch background. A light burn in the tongue and around the mouth. The sip gives a sharp bit of wood. Smooths out with the swallow with the wood notes, a touch of cinnamon and a very little bit of butter.
My highest praise is that I would buy it again.

Kan niet missen eigenlijk

First time I tried this rom I was new to rum, so I didn’t really like it at all. Couple of years in my palate and taste has developed, so now I can say it’s a rum of the higher quality.

Powerfull, smooth for 48 % .Let it some time. Long lasting flavour.

A few ice cubes to let this beast settle for 5 and took in !
