The higher alcohol content hides its mediocre flavor. But I’ve been done with all spiced rum for awhile. I would’ve taken BG over this in my coke. Once you have had better rum—not necessarily more expensive—you will ditch this immediately.
too sticky and weird taste , remind me the cough syrup
Great for its price spiced rum. Has a caramel spiced aroma and a full smocked flavor.
Nice colour but too harsh to sip neat. Could improve with a soda water or mixer but spice finish is a tad chemical. Sorry 🥺
Great spiced taste! 7/10 for this little old friend of mine.
Well, it’s readily available and, let’s not be snobs about this, it’s also very drinkable. I like it neat: not too much burn, sweet enough without being too sweet. Throughout decent. Not exceptional, but good enough.
I say “Spiced” because that’s what it’s caused but honestly all I taste is fake vanilla and shiz ton of sugar. I won a bottle and would have never bought it. But if you’re into “Spiced” rum you might like it.
Halt ein spiced Rum, immerhin kaum süss.
Starke Vanillenote, eher wenig komplex.
Gibt Coktails bestimmt seine würzigen Noten.

"Sailor Jerry Spiced rum new bottle PR from The Floating Rum Shack"
The rum smells very sweet.
"It is initially very sweet on the tip of the tongue but it soon becomes very bitter."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This bottle made me wonder what else must be out there, there must be a whole world of delicious rum out there to sample. Until very recently this was a staple at my house. Narrowly beaten out by red leg in the budget section (but more readily available). For a cheap bottle you can’t go wrong at all.
