Sailor Jerry I S on the list of acceptable rums but not at the top of the list for me, not quite as smooth as I would like
Very sweet, but with an inviting vanilla flavour profile. Drinkable neat, I guess, but this is the kind of rum you'll want to be mixing with coke, ice and a lime wedge (like most spiced rums, I guess). The biggest upside is the bottle design and price. Otherwise, this is quite unremarkable but still better than your average supermarket rum.
A decent enough well marketed rum. Strong on the vanilla. Not as big of a fan of the aftertaste as others such as old j, but a good and easy drinkable run
Good mixer, try something sweet - orange juice? Otherwise avoid. Rough tasting.
Outstanding in a rum and coke, sprite / coke, etc. Great cheap spiced rum for parties, at home want to get a little buzzed, etc.
Very heavy notes of vanilla, other spices are fairly hard to identify. Would not use as a sipping rum!
Solid rum for a night out, nice bit of vanilla and caramel flavouring
One of my first rums that I tried. Shame they changed recipes.
Over rated, it is a knock off of Captain Morgan. Definitely have to mix it.

"Sailor Jerry Spiced rum new bottle PR from The Floating Rum Shack"
The rum smells very sweet.
"It is initially very sweet on the tip of the tongue but it soon becomes very bitter."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
