Dejlig rum til baren. syntes den minder om Banks 5. syntes ikke den er egnet til at sippe.
a white spirit, the taste is that of a white Rum Agrícol made with fresh sugar cane. So you can expect it tastes somehow similar to a fruit brandy, pisco, or Aguardente de Cana. This one however is very mild in taste with only minimal burning.
Feels like there are 80% of arrack, 10 Jamaica and 10 some agricole. It's easy on nose, watery and pretty smooth. Core aroma and taste reminds me cachaca plus bit of funk. Short or no aftertaste.
However, Ti punch (¼ not squeezed lime, 50g Tricorne, 1g Demerara sugar) was quite sensational.
Different in a good way with some interesting agricole notes but the flavours are not as strong as I would like, I prefer more grassy aroma and flavour.
Intéressant mélange avec de l'arrack mais ce n'est pas un rhum de dégustation à mon goût. A essayer avec du 7 up ou en ti-punch!
The rice-mollasses-agricole combo makes for a very unusual rum ! Something "milky" and both rough and smooth... Got to try that for a daiquiri !
Nosing
Blackberry and pine nuts
Tasting
Olives , long sweetness , grass and
Chocolate
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This rum as a rich story on how this one is made, a great story to tell!
I use this for my rum tastings to give an idea on what to come, suprisingly it doesn't burn. I exclusively use this for tastings and would not recommend sipping on this one.
