Ron Zacapa XO Rum is produced in the highlands of Guatemala where it is distillled from fresh cane juice. The rum is then aged from 6 to 23 years at 7544 feet above sea level at 62 °F (17 °C) using the solera process. The solera aging process incorporates barrels that previously held American whiskeys, sherries, wines and Cognac

Unbelievable smooth and easy drinking, this rum feels thicker and more refined than anything I've had before or since. It comes with a hefty price tag but for good reason and I will be treating myself to another bottle / adding it to my Christmas list in the future!
My personal benchmark for quality sipping runs from the Americas - first time I tasted this recalibrated my previous view on rum as a poor cousin to great malt whiskey - game changer....
Very nice , so smooth. Bought this bottle at the Canadian duty free for under $70. It’s priced over $100 in the states. A great rum for your collection.
what a super tasty rum.just sit down comfortably and enjoy life.
It is just a little bit less than you probably expect. A bit too sweet, nummy at the sides of the tongue, full body.
More sweet - and even simpler if possible - than the "23". No hint of the famous pineapple yeast or sugar-cane "honey" (boiled sugar cane juice) - just plain simple. And supersweet. and Glycerin for added "smooth". No thanks.
