Aroma dulce, sabor a miel, banana madura y pasas, quema un poco al final

It smells really cheap, the taste is a blend of burn and some sweetness. All in all nothing special.

Very interesting flavour profile. Tastes of sweet honey and mild fruit. A very perplexing herby taste takes old, although distinct characteristics were difficult to discern; more of a mixed bag spiced rum vibe. Not bad but not great

Beenleigh distillery from Australia, sweet leather harmonious nose, version from 1423 rum calendar is ok but bottle is far superior.

not sure how a rum gets a taste of peat but it tastes like Scotch to me... Very off-putting

Floral nose vanilla taste but then a bitter fruity finish with a lot of burn that is off-putting

Whilst not sweet and with an interesting aroma, I would hesitate buying a full bottle. Not necessarily a mixer rum though.

Smooth yeah, but bit of more herbal and floral, not my style

I did not expect a lot from this rum but in the end, it definitely surprised me!
The color is coppery, a bit lighter actually.
On the nose, the Cane Island is sweet, and with notes of nail polish. It reminds me a lot of slivovitz.
The taste itself is like a mix of different spirits. The finish is again reminiscent of slivovitz and so is the slight alcohol punch when you take the first sip. The body of the rum is then similar to whisky (Tullamore Dew). There is also some honey-like sweetness but it is still a rather dry rum.
I have not tasted anything with a similar profile before. It is a funky but good rum!

Nice color, good taste, and nice finish, good drinking for night. 5/10, nothing special
