United States | Spiced | 35% ABV
Launched in 2011, Bacardi Oakheart is the newest addition to the extensive Bacardi collection.
This spiced rum is aged for 1 to 2 years, filtered using a proprietary process, and then flavored with various spices including maple, nutmeg, cinnamon and honey.
Bacardi Oakheart took over two years to name and more than 2700 names were considered. The winner, Oakheart, is a reference to the charred American white oak barrels that house the rum while it ages.

Very enjoyable mixer with coke. Light and sweet. Goes down a little too well
Chutný, nie príliš ostrý, jemne korenistý, trošku vanilkový. Citít, že bol v zadymených sudoch.
Za tu cenu cca 12€ fajn rum. Vhodný aj na celovečerné pitie.
nice mixing rum... perfect with coke and lime. And pretty cheap!
If you ever wondered how much sugar can be added to a rum, then this is your answer. I mean I have no idea how they did this, but it is just soooo sweet, I would call it a rum liquer or syrup or something. I actually like sweeet stuff and this one is fine for the price, even some hints of other tastes, but not much else to speak of other than sweetness and surprisingly little alcohol burn.
Nice spiced Bacardi, unpretentious and unsurprising. Thanks to the Bacardi name and global availability wel known and well received. Nice nevertheless.
Good rum, mixes well and can be drank straight with minimal burn
Like the taste makes your rum and coke just a little different
Meget bedre smag end de andre "billige" Bacardi rom. Den har en skarp smag, med en del power i. Den velegnet sig dog stadig mest til drinks, så det vil ikke være en god "alene rom".
'oak barrels to impart a rich and smoky taste'
"Bacardi Oakheart rum review by The Ultimate Rum Shack"
Smooth but it is also very sweet.
"There's a slight burn of alcohol and the spicing is maybe just a bit too much. There is also a slightly jarring aftertaste. It’s a bit smoky and oily."

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This is a very good spiced rum for the price. I paid $13 but that all relitive to where you live. Anyways it has a very nice smell, simular to sailor jerry but with my vanilla. Taste wise it is very creamy, like Carmel. I can tate the oak that's in the name and it's smooth like a good bourbon. Honestly it reminds me very much of a good bourbon. Over all I was very surprised.
