United States | Gold | 40% ABV
Bacardi Gold rum is manufactured in Puerto Rico where it is distilled from fermented molasses. It is then filtered through charcoal and aged in charred oak barrels for between 1 and 2 years. Unlike Bacardi Superior, Bacardi Gold is only filtered once.
Bacardi's official logo, a fruit bat, dates to 1862 when founder Don Facundo Bacardi found fruit bats living in rafters of the building he bought to house the distillery. Bats are considered an omen of good luck in Cuba and have emblazoned Bacardi rum bottles ever since.

I cannot believe this is still considered rum. The taste is bad, the after taste is bad. It smells bad. I haven't had this in years, but I dislike it so much, that I took a little time to tell people to stay away.
Etwas bebesser als der blanco aber das war es dann auch schon. Für Mixgetränke okay.
Very good mixer rum but not so great on the rocks
If i buy bacardi gold ...it's because there is a party around....And guys...buy a bigger size we're not to sleep yet.
You definitely can't drink this straight up and even adding coke to it doesn't mask the flavour. Smells like rum, tastes like starch. Avoid.
I can't think of any situation where I'd resort to this. Seriously, I'd drink gin instead.
Drinkable with cola, classic rum that you can find everywhere
Can be good also in mixed drinks, but is not my favourite for Cuba Libre mix. Nothing special

About the best Amber you can get on a budget. Cheap as Lamb's but with more taste. I get this one the day before payday in flask size.
