Interesting enough to make a good rum old fashioned, but not too forward that it mixes well.
Bold smooth Rum with a nice finish.
Great value for the $25 price tag.
Balanced with a strong taste. Loved drinking this rum.
Very dry with awesome burn. Oakish aftertaste which could be a bit longer.
It has a slightly smoky nose with some vanilla hints. The taste is vanilla and toffee forward with a brief middle and a long alcohol burn.
This rum is somewhere between WIRD and Foursquare. My version has 46%.
I can say from the nose that it's a Foursquare rum, but it's not that dark or deep.
It's somewhere between Doorly's 8 and 10y.
Smell: The smell is not very intensive, there is vanilla, bourbon wood, some Foursquare notes like hazelnut in the background. Also some WIRD notes like citrus, orange zests, but not that intensive.
It's on the bright side and is not dark like other great Foursquare bottlings.
Taste: It's still thin at 46% for me. There is vanilla and bourbon wood first, some Foursquare notes like hazelnut in the background. Some citrusy WIRD notes with orange zests are here again, but not that intensive. It's also not very fruity.
This is a quite smooth rum for 46% but too bright for me. I enjoy the more aged Foursquares with dark aromas more. I would prefer Doorlys XO or the much better Doorlys 14.
Would rate it with 77 points.

"Buttery, nuttiness hits me and washes over my tongue in waves. It’s magical stuff..."
"RL Seale 10-Year review by the Rum Diaries Blog"
The nose is classically Bajan.
"It leaves notes of oak, nuts and smokiness behind in the finish which is long and pleasant. ."

The funk is never lost, and it tastes way more than it is priced. Definitely a steal!
