Saison Triple Cask 5-Year

I do like the three casks/two countries concept. Straight, the flavor was fine, but no particular one that I could identify. Mixed, better. Afterburn was not that strong. 

You can really taste the alcohol on this rum (as expected with a 5 year), but after it subsides it has good flavor. My rating may be biased as I prefer darker rums and this skews lighter. Surprised to not see more ratings on here. Would buy again or test out the 7 year bottle.

Jérôme Tessendier - the cellar Master who searched the Caribbean Islands for rums to find the best terroirs and aroma profiles. That is a job of my dreams. 😀
Triple Cask was matured in 3 different oak barrels. As you can see on the picture,bright amber colour. Aroma- frankly almost not any, maybe some fruitiness.
Taste- great combinations of rum and congac flavor. Not any burn at all !
I like it very much because there is a proper amount of sugar.
