Rhum JM Blanc 50

Très parfumé. Excellent en ti-punch. Bon rapport qualité prix.

Tasted at Laka Lono on 7/11/21. Pours clear. Aroma is bread dough grassy- huge agricole. I smell cherries. Up front spiciness. Mild pepper. Mellow sweetness to the flavor with a slight anise. This totally does not seem like a 100 proof rum as it is so smooth. A classic benchmark for the style.

I don't know if I like agricole all that much. I feel like it's got a very distinct vegetal taste which I think is an odd flavor in rum. It's fairly smooth and pretty sweet but it just doesn't taste great to me, however, that's just agricole...

Two lime cheeks, simple syrup and a cube. Nice sipping!

This is a good agricol, i use it for mixing and like its Got a rough in taste so it dont get un notis in the drink.

Fresh cane aroma, accompanied by the typical grassiness. Hides the proof well. On the palate we get some bitterness (almost sour) followed by cane juice sweetness and peppercorns. Mouthfeel is very round and full, but not oily. Finish is spicy and dry but smooth.

Very nice, if standard, Blanc Agricole.

Un rhum au feeling très "pickles" (un peu à la Clairin ou une cachaça) très végétal, et "crade", qui évoque l'eau-de-vie de gentiane par moments. Réservé aux amateurs avertis (ceux qui aiment l'agricole dans son versant le plus rustique).

If you like tequila than this is the one for you. I’m not too fond of it myself though.

Nose is briny, and grassy. Taste has some of the brine with a grassy and citrus notes.

This has tasty vegetal, earthy notes. It is beautifully dry and very tasty. Works well in ti'punches and in Tiki drinks with a split base.
